As with any fax setup, the SENDER pays for sending a fax. NOT the recipient. In this case, the sender pays a few cents more then they would to a regular landline fax. That is why it's 100% FREE to you! (the cost for send a fax to an 086...number is R2.02 per minute incl VAT)

No, as with standard emails, your incoming faxes are stored on your Internet Service Providers
server until you have downloaded your email.

Does my computer have to be turned on to receive faxes?

No, their are no contracts involved whatsoever. If you no longer wish to use the service, simply refrain from receiving faxes and after 90 days the 086... number will go back into circulation and be assigned to someone else.

If I register, am I bound by any type of contract?

If you already have a fax number and want to keep it, there's no problem. Just contact your phone company and call-forward the number to your new eZFax number. Or even more, you could just give out your FREE eZFax number and stop paying the high cost of an extra fax line.

What if I already have a fax number?

All PC's with Windows operating systems have a standard TIFF image viewer but should you wish to recieve your faxes in PDF format, you will require Abobe Reader. This software is free of charge and can be downloaded at www.adobe.com.

Will I require special software to view the faxes?
